Angola: Lunda Norte – Border Police Foil Entry of Illegal Immigrants

Dundo — The officers of the 7th Unit of the Border Police of Angola (UPGFA) in Lunda Norte province foiled in the last seven days the entry of 254 illegal immigrants in the localities of Sandumba, Nachir, Furtuna, Chisssanda, Lupemba and Chitato, according to a note of the corporation that reached Angop.

Out of illegal immigrants trying to enter the national territory included 212 men and 42 women, who were accompanied by 23 children.

The document states that the arrests also took place on the borders of Txumo, an area linked to Lóvua, Canzar, Furi-3, Muaquesse, Cambamba, Itanda, Muenhambulo, Muacanhica and Luia, confined to Cambulo and occurred in the control and security of 490 kilometers under the jurisdiction of the same police unit.
